1. Starting Your Audi (Keyless Entry)
Video Demo: Key Fob Placement and Ignition
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Key Location: Ensure the key fob (or digital key phone) is inside the vehicle cabin.
- Ignition: Press the brake pedal firmly. Locate the START/STOP button (usually near the gear selector) and press it once.
- Shut Off: Ensure the vehicle is in PARK (P). Press the START/STOP button once.
- Safety Reminder: If the car does not recognize the key, try holding the key fob near the key symbol in the center console or front cupholder (watch video for placement).
2. Changing the Radio / Media
Video Demo: MMI Touch and Volume Controls
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Volume Knob: The main Volume Knob is located on the center console, easily accessible by the driver or passenger. Push to mute.
- MMI Screen: Tap the "Media" button on the top 10.1-inch screen.
- Haptic Feedback: Remember, the MMI screens use Haptic Feedback. You must press the screen firmly until you feel a "click" to register your input.
- Source Selection: Select "Source" in the Media menu to switch between FM, Satellite Radio, and Bluetooth.
4. Luxury & Convenience Features
Video Demo: Power Sunshade, Climate, and Trunk Operation
Feature Quick Tips:
- Power Trunk (Q5/A5): The button to open the trunk is located on the driver's side door panel near the interior latch. To close, use the button found on the bottom lip of the opened trunk itself.
- Power Sunshade: Control the panoramic roof sunshade using the small touch-capacitive button located near the interior overhead lights (seen at 3:10 in the video).
- Heated/Ventilated Seats: These controls are located directly on the lower MMI touch screen. Press firmly to toggle the levels (one press = high, three presses = off).
